We’re excited to introduce you to Aaron, an outgoing and soft-hearted teen who cares about others, connects easily with his peers as well as the adults in his life, and prides himself on being a really good friend. If you happen to be a sports minded family, you already have something in common with this awesome young man, as his favorite outdoor activity is football. Along with playing football whenever possible, Aaron also loves to watch NFL games, particularly when his favorite 49ers are playing! A few of Aaron’s other favorite pastimes include watching You-Tube videos; hanging out with friends; listening to 21 Pilots; mastering Minecraft and Legend of Zelda and reading fantasy/adventure novels like the Divergent series. This talented teen is also musically inclined and has a real passion for playing the violin! Having played in his school orchestra in the past, Aaron really hopes to pick it back up and advance his skills even more once he gets settled into his new home.
Aaron’s Permanency Team describes the best match for him as a home where he might be the only child or would have same aged or older siblings, with both a Mom and Dad, or possibly a single parent family. Aaron’s team is open to hearing from Idaho families only at this time. Aaron’s preference is for Boise area families, as he would really love to stay in his community and at his current school if possible, however he is also open to the possibility of residing in the Eastern part of the state. Aaron has birth siblings and needs a family who will value and support him in continuing those important relationships. A family who can provide structure but is also flexible and understanding, with strong trauma experience or knowledge, would be a wonderful fit for Aaron. Aaron also loves dogs, so a home with some new fluffy friends would be an added bonus!
Aaron is so excited about the possibility of adoption and is looking forward to the day that he can move forward with his life, surrounded by a permanent family of his own who will support and love him unconditionally, a family who can recognize all of the great qualities he has.
