Gaven is one of the sweetest boys you’ll ever hope to meet! Though he can be a bit shy and reserved initially, once he gets to know you, his inquisitive and fun personality truly shines. Gaven likes Math and Art in school and loves to read “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” books. He’s into building things, either with Legos or with wood and recently made a bird house out of wood with a little help from his foster dad. Gaven enjoys Marvel movies, fishing, riding his bike and Razor scooter, swimming, camping and reading the Sunday comics in an actual newspaper! He has spent a significant amount of time living in a rural setting and enjoys helping out on the property by driving the side X side and helping to change irrigation water. A country boy at heart, Gaven loves a good steak and potato dinner and listening to his favorite singer, Carrie Underwood. This young man deserves serious bragging rights for his fishing ability as he once caught a near-record 30” Lake Trout.
Some of Gaven’s best attributes include his sense of humor and his compassion for those around him. He has a real affinity for elderly people and loves to visit them often at his local nursing home. Gaven also has a real sense of adventure and a love of experiencing all that he can. He cheers on his school’s cheer team, is learning about FFA and hopes to someday become a Navy Seal, a lineman or a smoke-jumper.
Gaven’s Permanency Team is interested in finding an adoptive family who already has a completed and approved home study in place and resides in Southern or Eastern Idaho. He would thrive in a home with both a mom and a dad and possibly some same-aged or older siblings. Gaven will need a family who is committed to helping him preserve some important existing relationships. If Gaven sounds like he could be a great fit for your family, please inquire today to find out more about this one of a kind young man!
