Are you a coffee lover? Meet Kaleb! He loves sweet coffee drinks, especially from Dutch Bros. His caffeinated drink of choice is called ‘Picture Perfect’. Kaleb describes it as a frozen blended chocolaty-caramel coffee dream. So, grab a cup of joe and settle in as you get to know Kaleb!
Kaleb is wise beyond his years and is commonly mistaken for being much older than he is by the way that he carries himself. Kaleb says his favorite quality about himself is that he’s nice and shows respect to others. Kaleb really enjoys spending time with friends, because they make him laugh the most and he enjoys playing games with them. Some of Kaleb’s favorite pass times including drawing, playing video games like Fortnite and Apex Legends, beating friends at card games, and dreaming about owning his own BMX bike. Though Kaleb has only tried BMX biking once, he is eager to try it again and is sure that it could be one of his favorite hobbies in the future. Kaleb is excited to have a family that will take him on outdoor experiences. Camping, hiking, throwing around a football, and eating smores are some of his favorite outdoor activities.
Though he is not on any current sports teams, Kaleb looks forward to being able to join a soccer or football team in the future. Kaleb shares that he’s an active boy that needs to eat a lot of food to keep up with how fast he’s growing. He can down a large stack of pancakes anytime of the day because that’s his favorite food. He likes a lot of syrup on top, as he has quite a sweet tooth. Kaleb enjoys a lot of different sweets but what really cures his sweet tooth is just a simple Hershey’s chocolate bar.
When asked what he hopes for in an adoptive family Kaleb said he would like a family with both a mom and dad and lots of dogs. Kaleb also said that he would like a family that will walk alongside him as he grows as a young man and in his understanding of the world. Kaleb is a very thoughtful and intuitive boy who thrives when he knows what’s next and what his day looks like. Kaleb’s permanency team is open to out of state families, but are hoping to find a family in Idaho or California. A family that has an understanding of childhood trauma, TBRI practices, and the ability to give Kaleb a fresh start each day would be a great fit for him.
