You might just find a connection with McKaela when it comes to musical taste, as some her favorite bands include old-school groups like Sublime, Radiohead, and The Cranberries. McKaela has dreams of traveling as a family to Disneyworld and has a penchant for Korean noodles and funny Dad Jokes. Those who know her best describe McKaela as sweet and easy to get along with, but also as someone who can stand up for herself when necessary, which is a great life skill for a teen girl to have! McKaela has spent a lot of time in the past caring for and feeling responsible for the well-being of her younger siblings. She needs a family who can help reinforce that she deserves to just be a teenager and that they are willing and capable of taking over the role of meeting the needs of her little brothers, while understanding that role shift may be a difficult transition for her.
Marko and Mateo are fun little boys with inquisitive personalities! Being so close in age, they share many of the same interests including a love of Legos; playing at the park; coloring; puzzles; dancing and a great cheese pizza!
This group of siblings need parents who will be able to be strong educational advocates for them and who can help them stay connected to, and celebrate, their Hispanic culture. A two-parent family without teen boys in the home would be an ideal fit for them. McKaela, Marko and Mateo are counting down the days until they can be all together forever within a family that will treasure them and help them heal, learn, grow, and thrive.
